Have you been volunteering or wish to volunteer your spare time tutoring, coaching, mentoring or advocating for youths or young adults in and around Detroit? Do you provide these services for pay or a salary but yet, is dedicated beyond the constraints of the salary?

Visit this Website also, and make more informed decisions.EPACMCS and the EPACMCS Web Partners would like to congratulate and commend the concerned citizens of Detroit for a very successful March and Rally 4:00pm Tuesday March 23, 2010.Approximately 5000 individuals marched from the Detroit Federation Of Teachers Headquarters on John C. Lodgeand West Grand Boulevard and gathered at the Fisher Building located at Second Avenue and Grand Boulevard in the City Of Detroit.

The March and Rally was in protest to Emergency Financial Manager, Robert Bobb's closing of schools, lay-offs and dismantling and privatization of the Detroit Public School District.
The rally was also in protest to Detroit Mayor Dave Bing's dismantling and downsizing of the City in concert with Robert Bobb's actions.Among more than 20 community organizations were members of the Detroit Federation Of Teachers, some members of the UAW, some members of the local AFSME Union, Keep The Vote/No Take Over, BAMN, and Safeway Bus Drivers.

Several elected Detroit School Board Member also took part.This list included: Reverend David Murray, Lamar Lemmons, Anne Carter, Terry Catchings and Otis Mathis.We wish to commend all who participated and let their voices be heard.

EPAC Inc. is a 33 year-old organization that has addressed the needs of thousands of youths and young adults; especially those at risk in the Greater Detroit Area. There will be an entry for each $20.00 donation. Therefore, one person can have his/her name entered multiple times; increasing the chances of selection.
